Who we are
The Bakery Cafe, 118 Manchester Street, Heywood, OL10 1DW, run by Stella. We are responsible for any personal information you share with us through this website or when you contact the cafe.

What we collect
Phone calls: if you ring the cafe, we see your number and anything you tell us, such as an order you want putting aside.
Social media messages: if you message us on social media, we see your name and message.
Website visits: our hosting provider keeps short technical logs (IP address, browser type and pages requested) to keep the site secure and working.
We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking on this website.
How we use it and why
We only use your details to answer your question or sort out your order. Our legal basis is legitimate interests in running the cafe and replying to customers. We never sell your information or add you to marketing lists.
Cookies and third parties
We don’t set cookies ourselves. Some features, such as the map, load from other services that may collect basic technical data or set cookies. You can block third-party cookies in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
Phone numbers and messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry or order. Hosting logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider, then deleted automatically.
